StickerBridge — Privacy Policy

StickerBridge converts Telegram sticker packs into WhatsApp-compatible sticker packs. It's built around one rule: no accounts, and no data collection beyond what's needed to run a specific feature. This page explains exactly what that means in practice.

What StickerBridge does not do

No user accounts, sign-up, or login — ever.
No collection of your name, email, phone number, or contacts.
No storage of the sticker images themselves — they're fetched live from Telegram each time and only cached briefly for performance, never tied to you personally.
No selling or sharing of any data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

What the core conversion feature uses

Pasting a Telegram sticker pack link sends only that link's pack name to StickerBridge's backend, which fetches the pack via the Telegram Bot API and converts it. Nothing about you or your device is attached to that request beyond the technical minimum any network request requires (like your IP address, used only to serve the response and not logged or stored against you).

Publish & browse directory (optional)

You can optionally publish a pack you just imported to a public, searchable directory so other users can find it. This is entirely opt-in — the core conversion flow never requires it. If you choose to publish:

A category and any tags you add are stored, along with the pack's Telegram name and title.
An anonymous, randomly-generated device identifier (created locally on your device, never tied to your identity) is stored alongside your submission. It exists only so you can un-publish your own pack later, and so one device can't inflate a pack's report count.
If you report a pack, that same anonymous identifier is used to prevent duplicate reports from the same device. Reported content is automatically hidden after enough distinct reports.

Sending a pack back to Telegram (optional)

You can turn a pack you imported into a new Telegram sticker set. Telegram only lets a bot create a sticker set for someone who has started a chat with that bot, so this feature opens StickerBridge's bot in Telegram and asks you to press Start. If you do:

Your numeric Telegram user ID — the one Telegram itself sends when you press Start — is stored temporarily, together with the list of stickers being exported, purely so the sticker set can be created for your account.
Nothing else from your Telegram account is requested or stored: no name, no username, no phone number, no messages.
Pressing Start is the only way this feature ever runs. If you never open it, no Telegram account information reaches StickerBridge at all.

Crash and error monitoring

StickerBridge uses Sentry to catch crashes and errors so problems can actually get fixed. This is configured to collect as little as possible:

No IP address or other personal identifiers are attached to error reports.
No screenshots and no session replay — Sentry never sees what's on your screen.
What is collected: crash/error details, device model and OS version, and app state directly relevant to diagnosing the problem (e.g. which screen or action failed).

Ads and the "Remove Ads" purchase

Free use of animated/video sticker exports is supported by rewarded ads served through Google AdMob. Ads are shown personalized only after you consent through Google's consent form and, on iOS, allow tracking via the system App Tracking Transparency prompt — Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA) is used only with that permission. If you decline either, you'll still see ads, just non-personalized ones. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the "Ad privacy options" link in the app.
A one-time $4.99 purchase removes ads permanently. Purchases are processed by Apple's App Store or Google Play directly — StickerBridge never sees your payment details. Purchase validation is handled by RevenueCat, which is given the same anonymous, non-account device identifier described above to know which device unlocked the purchase.

Third-party services this app relies on

Each of the following only receives the minimum described above — none of them get your name, email, or any account, because StickerBridge doesn't have any:

Children's privacy

StickerBridge is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them — there's no data collection mechanism (like accounts) that would make this possible in the first place.

Your choices

You can un-publish any pack you shared at any time from within the app. You can change or withdraw ad consent at any time via the "Ad privacy options" link in the app, or decline tracking via the App Tracking Transparency prompt or your device's Settings app on iOS. Since nothing is tied to a persistent account, most other privacy controls (like "delete my account") don't apply — there's no account to delete.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "Effective" date at the top of this page will be updated.
